Lost and found
I really wrote this post around 1.30 PM on Wednesday. Speaking of things lost and found, I've lost my mind over a large assortment of things; most recently, my car breaking down for the LAST TIME because I'm getting another one.
Last night I lost not one but BOTH of the earrings that my grandmother gave me when I was a little kid. I lost one of them under the driver's seat of my car while driving out to the Summit for my interview at Victoria's Secret. Then, I lost the other one while I was hanging up my pants (so it's probably in my closet, buried underneath dirty clothes). I know not to worry though, because if I freak out about it, I probably won't ever find it. :)
Anyway, I found the one that was in my car this morning... it wasn't under the seat though, it was in the little change holder that's on the handle of the door. So yay, one down, one to go. :)
Yesterday, I met a really cool person (whose name I'm going to withhold for the time being) who is a guy, but used to be a girl! Last night's commonGround meeting was about transgendered people (which is a blanket term for many things: transsexuals, drag queens, drag kings, and people who get sex change operations are just a few of the terminologies 'trans' covers). The official speakers had something come up at the last minute, so everyone was just kind of talking about different issues trans people have to face, and then this guy kinda spoke up and said that he used to be a girl. It was really funny because when I first saw him, I thought, "Wow... he would be cute as a girl!" And then it just so turns out that he used to be one. Another cool thing that he said is that he was a feminist when he was a girl, but he's kinda leaning away from being a feminist (and the term is a little redundant now that he is a male), but it's not because he's a guy now. But he said that one of the cool thing is that, unlike other male feminists, he knows what it's like to be a girl (cause he used to be one).
Anyway, enough of my rant. I found this really entertaining link today while flipping through blogs, you should
check it out. It is quite funny and clever. :)
Well kids... I have an interview that I have to go to now. Wish me luck! :D
PS - The interview with LG&E Project Engineering (Weds) was pretty good. The interview with North American Stainless Steel (Thurs) was AWESOME... the interview was excited that I was a female EE cause NAS needs EEs and there's like 5 girls that work there so having another girl onboard would be funtimes! :D

I got a hamburger!
An adorable little girl made a song out of these four simple words at a Burger King in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was so adorable, Mike even laughed at the little girl's song!
Anyway, the reason why I was in BGKY was because I had an interview with Logan Aluminum in Russelville. Their plant is GIGANTIC, and the people working there are fun times. And they also didn't mind when I got lost and was an hour late to my interview, and even helped me (like 6 times) get back on the correct road to Rville. :) Oh, and on the way back, I drove through BG to get to L'ville. SO much easier. Thanks to Mike for going with me and helping me navigate through about 1/3 of Kentucky.
And, in conclusion, kick Mapquest in the face.
The end. :)
PS - I heart
the Ultimate Engineer! He is so precious! :)
