boys are gross

So yesterday I went to a not-gay club for one of the very few times in my life. It was cool, except there were some EXTREMELY slimy guys trying to hit on me and my girls. Out of the four of us, one had her boyfriend there with her, one has a semi-boyfriend, and me and the other girls are single(-ish). There was definitely this 6'+ guy that kept slinking his way over to me and trying to grab my chest. Ew. Go away. The first time, he leaned over and was like, "Too bad you're here with your boyfriend..." And I was like, "What..." And he's like, "Too bad you're with your boyfriend 'cause I think you're sexy." And then I was like, "Yea, too bad!" and ran away and grabbed the arm of my nearest guy friend. I apologize to C and B if I broke your hand or arm. Then we walked around a little more and when we were getting ready to leave, the guy puts his arms all around me and is like, "Still here with that boyfriend, huh? You're still sexy!!!" And I was like, "Yea, boyfriend..." and grabbed Chris' arm and C's hand and ran away.

Other than these and assorted other slimy boy encounters, the dancing was fun. Granted, there were a few cute guys there that didn't act too slimy. Also, I was flirting like crazy with C. He's smart, very cute, and hilarious. I still can't figure out if he was holding my hand as we walked around because he maybe sorta likes me (oh my goodness, that would be the end of the world), or just because he was rather drunk and needed to hold someone in order to keep balance while walking (more likely).

In conclusion, I'm totally never going to a straight club again unless I have a boyfriend (or a guy friend posing as a boyfriend), because boys are gross. DON'T YOU KNOW THAT NO MEANS NO? *shudder* Eww, eww, eww.

In other news, there is no other news. School still sucks. I have 3 tests next week, and another the Friday after 4th of July weekend. At least I get to hang out with Bryce on the 4th!

Monthly movie review! (and life update)

So! My monthly movies are: Mr. and Mrs. Smith (which I saw like two weeks ago--4/5 stars!) and Batman Begins (which I saw last Wednesday--5/5 stars just because of Christian Bale being an AWESOME Batman, and Cillian Murphy being an AWESOME bad guy. It also has Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman who rock. :D ). I also saw the last like 30 minutes of Boogie Nights (snore) the other day, and all I have to say is... Alfred Molina with a shot gun? Whoa.

Anyway, today I was checking my bank account online (because I really need groceries), and I saw that I had a new section entitled "credit cards"... which means they approved my credit application!!! YAY! I'm only using it for groceries and gas (since I don't have the physical card yet, I'm not going to be using it for anything). I figure I can get gas on the way home and also buy some groceries and then just see how the payments hammer out so I can actually pay it off. Yay for credit building!

Also, my knee is doing well. I haven't taken my medication yet today, and I didn't take it yesterday (I know, bad me--it's cause I had a headache!). They took measurements on it during therapy on Thursday and I can almost fully extend my knee. I guess I'll go back to Dr. Richardson sometime this week or next week (whichever one I don't have multiple tests, but preferrably the later one).

I finally get to see all of my 'Bama family soon; there's a Johnson Family reunion in mid-July. The only bad thing is that I'd have to miss a day of school to get there or get back (either the Friday before finals, or the Monday of finals week... I pick Friday). Can you say plane ticket? That might be the only way I can squeeze it all in there. Or just convince my aunt to get married later (like a week!!! c'mon Jacks...). But anyway, after finals I'm going to Cedar Point with Bryce, his younger brother, and his brother's girlfriend for 2-3 days. Yay!!! And mom and dad said they'd take me on a mini-vaction during my 3-week break. So I could very well have a vacation extravaganza before co-op! Whoo!

I'm excited about co-op time coming back around. I really didn't think that they liked me that much, but they were just giving me a hard time. I wouldn't say they were really 'impressed' by me, but I bet they were glad they had an electrical co-op that would do the dumb jobs they didn't want to do. :) I'm really not all that pumped about having to be up in the hot air to fix the crane weights, but I am excited about the actual fixing part.

I think I need to format my computer again. It's acting weird and slow... stupid school network program slows it down, among other things...

Wheee!

Yes, I do have a blog. And sometimes I remember it.

For those of you that haven't heard, I'm going through physical therapy for my knee (I didn't do anything to it, I just have bad knees I guess). It's okay but it sucks because I sweat like freaking crazy and I'm not even doing anything. I say, rip out my sweat glands. :) Not really, because I'd overheat and die, but I think I should be able to like... reduce the number of sweat glands. On the bright side, the guy I usually 'work' with is cute and a goofball, so he makes it fun. Also, I get a cold pack on my knee and that makes the pain way better.

Classes also suck. Dad called me yesterday to see how I'm doing... and then harass me for not being able to go to VA beach for like the third year now. That alright, because I'm planning to take a co-op vacation next year whenever the family decides to go down there. Hopefully we will go somewhere COOL, or even go back to Orlando (that was fun).

I got my appeal decision letter back ... I get a reduced scholarship (again), but it's better than nothing!!! I was pretty close to the "ehh, you're close enough to get the full scholarship" cut off, I didn't know exactly where it was though. That just means that I'll probably get my scholarship back next year (since I'll probably do well enough to get my GPA over that 3.0 thresh hold).

So, yea. I'm going to lab now. It will suck because it's lab, but at the same time be cool because it's lab. Hopefully no one will burn wires this time... :D
