Statistical anomaly
So, I was going to make some silly post about how I need to get new pants cause my old ones are falling off...
Then, this morning, I was told that a friend of mine has cervical cancer. Instead of having fun over spring break, she's having surgery.
I'm speechless.

So, I'm trying to figure out how mathematically possible it will be to pay rent, pay off the credit card, buy new tennis shoes (these ones are getting stinky... I wore flip flops in 40 degree weather last night cause they were so barf-smelling. No, FebreZe doesn't work), save up for an E-ball dress, and save up to have my piercings re-done. >< I hope I can keep making lots of money at work...! I guess I better start shoving my money into labeled jars which sit on my desk!
If only Engineering Econ were useful and not boring.
I think I can convince someone to go to Zappos with me (like Sheryll, Mary, or Jane L) since I know what my shoe size is now...! My limits on stuff are: $50 on shoes (and that's pushing it), $100 on an E-ball dress (and that's REALLY pushing it), and I think I can do $70 on the piercings. Mom, don't even THINK about writing a comment on how I don't need to be wasting money on piercings! I'm not wasting, I'm investing in the precious earth metals. :D
A few of my favorite things
So... instead of paying attention in Engineering Econ today, I decided to try my hand at drawing an aniME (a picture of me, but Anime-style). Keep in mind that I have the worst drawing skills ever... With a little patience (about an hours' worth) I came up with some awesome drawings. I shall scan my notes (the whole page, not just the Anime) and you will agree that the drawings are way better than Engineering Econ... especially if you've taken it here.
When it rains...
You know, I don't remember ever caring about school this much. Or caring about anything, really.
I have homework to work on pretty much every day, I'm studying a lot more than I have been, and I have all A's and B's so far... oh, they'll all be A's by May! Grad school is right around the corner! :)
And somehow I still have time for extracurriculars, video games, a social life (or whatever the equivalent is for an engineering student... :D ), pursuing a boy (a cute, smart, hilarious one at that! AAAND he said he likes me too! ^.^), and a job (possibly two in the near future), and the gym every once in a while.
We all have to grow up sometime, I guess. I just never thought I would be so calm and accepting about it.

What's up with all the rhetorical questions? Why do I keep posting so much? BOREDOM!
So, since I've pretty much accepted the fact that I live at school, I'm at school right now, trying to burn free time until I have to go to work *looks at clock* in like 2 minutes.
I think I should just let my laptop be an open experiement. I mean, the worst thing I can do is make it work, right? I am studying electrical engineering, right? Franken-spaz can live up to her name now. Oh wait... she already did. What a spaz.
You know, I should do one of those "quiz your friends!" thingies, and really, REALLY make it hard. I can name 5 people right now who I could pretty much cater the thing to, and then make everyone else feel goofy. ... Maybe I'll do that. Later. For now, I must be off to work. WHOOOO!!!!

Randomness...
So, I guess I had an awesome week! :D I was crazy all day and slept about an average of 4.5 hours a night. I guess I was excited about the super bowl! Or maybe my new-found test anxiety manifested itself in the form of bounciness. Whatever the case, I went to the gym and did laps on the stationary bike, apparently the equivalent of 11.5 miles in 35 minutes or so. Just for reference, I did about 4 miles in the past couple weeks in the same amount of time. :)
... Today was pretty boring, although the guy I did homework with noticed an error in the book. YAY! Dynamics still makes me feel dumb. I guess we'll see how well I understand it on Wednesday! :)
I need to get more hours for work. I'm broke! Hopefully, a few people will let me take their hours next week, or I'll get a couple more days on the schedule, but we'll see! :D

Because, kids, it's official. 2007 is the BEST YEAR EVER and January just ended! I actually feel like I'm being productive with my life (aka I'm graduating soon), and that I'm feeling more like a person with a purpose than a blip on the radar of life. Everything's not perfect, cause I'm superbroke... BUT you know what? I don't care. I could care
less what else happens, I feel ecstatic because everything is moving forward, even if it's not positive (yet). :)
